February the Sweetest Month!!

We are into the swing of February, the month we focus on kindness, friendship and cooperation. The children are collecting warm fuzzies for extraordinary acts of kindness. Learning how to curl with our rock the rings presentation was super fun! We also learned so much about puppets from the Puppet Lady and played with over 472 puppets!  Even the puppets need to be kind and nice and not bite or fight!! The puppet shows were so entertaining and our class are very good puppeteers now! Fire safety is also on our agenda this month and after learning about fire safety we will have a visit from a real fire fighter with all his gear! Valentines Day is a special way to focus on our kindness and friendship skills. Sharing with a special ice cream sundae treat was very rewarding in more ways than one!! Starting the morning off with pancakes and juice was a wonderful way to start one of our school mornings! Finally Mission Impossible has been not impossible for us!! The students are amazing at completing all the challenges!
