End of June Activities

School is over for this year and it went out with a flourish of activities. The students made delicious cookies for Father's Day, learned all about 3D shapes, dressed up for twin day, practiced all language and number skills, had a picnic in the classroom, decorated cupcakes, went neon bowling and participated in our Kindergarten Farewell!  What an awesome month and a spectacular year we had!! The children have become such good friends and are looking forward to their grade one adventure!

Field Trip Fun!!

Field Trip fun! We have had a couple of exciting and fun field trips in the past week! First we went for a walk to Alexandra Park, where the students enjoyed some fun park equipment and a picnic snack! From there we walked to the Leduc Public Library and listened to some interesting stories, as well as learned about caring for books. We made a cool book mark too! Then we were able to enjoy all the library amenities. The students played with the puppets, computers, looked at books and listened to music. Our next field trip was to Edmonton to visit the Zoo!! We weathered the rain and had an amazing day! We saw so many animals and exercised our bodies with all the climbing on the beaver dam and rocks! Many memories were made this day!
