May Flowers brings fun and excitement to Kindergarten!!

Our secret mother's day project turned out to be a great success! I hope you all enjoy your beautiful garden stepping stone made with love from your dear child!! The students enjoyed playing Jack and the Beanstalk in the loft and seeing themselves climb the beanstalk. Growing their own bean to their own castle in the sky was a great way to learn about plant growth. During education week the students were treated to a special yoga class. A trip to John Janzen Nature Center taught the students all about bees, honey making and about other bugs and nature! Highlights were playing bee games, seeing the real bees, playing in the indoor nature play park and exploring on the forest trails! We were lucky to have the opportunity to be visited by an Occupational Therapist who taught the students some yoga, entertained us with his singing bowl and helped the students to create wonderful musical drums! We practiced musical patterns and made the sound of a rain storm! What a fun month so far!
