We Won !!!

Congratulations to our ECS class for winning the Tutti Fruiti Tuesday contest by having the most nutritious snacks every Tuesday! The students took the contest to heart and really ate some wonderful fruits and vegetables. For their prize they were treated to a waffle cone filled with yummy fruit and topped with a whipped yogurt topping!!  Way to go class and keep those healthy snacks coming!!

March Memories!

Yeah, spring!! Hard to tell at the moment! Hopefully the grass will appear over spring break! March has flown by with our everyday activities and some extra special ones as well. We had a super experience creating with clay............. no pictures, top secret project!! Thanks for dressing green on St. Patrick's Day! The leprechaun seemed to have eluded the students carefully built and laid out traps, but we still managed to find a bit of gold (chocolate) after our hunt for him! We learned some fun yoga moves and will have proof of that next month when our yoga guru returns to teach us some more awesome poses. World Down Syndrome day was celebrated wearing funky socks and we ended our assembly showing the rest of the students our "hamster dance" we learned in gym class. The students were extremely proud of their performance and we may have to do an encore presentation at the end of our school year. With Easter just around the corner we are doing some fun math activities using jelly beans! Have a safe and wonderful spring break!
