Winter Fun!

The students enjoyed sledding down our "gigantic" sledding hill! A great time was had by all!

It's a New Year!!

Happy New Year! The kindergarten students have been so busy this month! We have been talking all about winter and especially having fun with the story The Mitten by Jan Brett.  The students have acted out the story using the stuffy characters, with their own paper bag and animal creation and with character masks as well. The students are superb story tellers! This month we have also been learning the ins and outs of Q tip hockey. We have the makings of some great hockey players. Last but not least we celebrated Tropical Day, by dressing up in summer clothes and experiencing some fun activities. One of the highlights was our lunch pizza party, a nice way to end our week. Next week we hope to do some more sledding and enjoy our winter sports.
