June Fun

June is a month for fun and relaxation. We are having fun with our friends whom we have gotten to know this year and enjoying their companionship in a variety of ways. First we got to visit the zoo and experience all the animals, climbing places and a couple of rides!  Next we got to go to a new park and then to the splash park! On such a hot day the cold water was refreshing! June will end with a grade one orientation, and finally bowling, pizza and a farewell celebration!  Have an excellent summer everyone and best wishes for an outstanding year in grade one!!!

May..... Spring has arrived at last!!

May has finally arrived and with it some spring time weather!  We were able to learn about bees, and other insects and nature at the John Janzen Nature Center, although that day was not very warm!!  We enjoyed seeing Mrs. B dress up and dance like a bee and were very excited to touch a real live salamander!!  Our beanstalks grew up to the castle in the sky! We are hoping to find gold or at the very least grow some beans!
